A Great Need

In Ngara District in North Western Tanzania,  less than 10 in 100 eligible young people have a chance of secondary education.

The Good Shepherd Secondary School will cost about NZ$1.5M for a boarding and day school for 350 pupils with administration centre, assembly hall/dining area, four two classroom blocks, laboratory, library and two staff houses.

The school is fully co-educational. It was opened in 2007 with 90 pupils in 2 classees.

The teaching medium is English.
